Abstract
At the recent meetings {August 1620) of the American Institute of Biological Sciences held at the University of Illinois, Urbana, the second Wilhelmine Key Lecture on Human Genetics was presented by Dr. Rollin D. Hotchkiss and appears on page 197 of this Journal. The Key lectures are sponsored by the American Genetic Association and are made possible by the late Dr. Wilhelmine Key, who bequeathed funds to the Association to be used in support of lectures on the implementation of genetics for human welfare and improvement. Dr. Wright, once a student of Dr. Key, preceded the address of Dr. Hotchkiss with the following remarks and reminiscences about his friend and teacher.
