Corrigendum: Horse, ass, and mule chromosomes

Abstract

In the article, "Horse, ass, and mule chromosomes," by Franklin Eldridge and William F. Blazak published in the November-December 1976 issue (pages 361–367) of the Journal of Heredity, we regret that a printing error occurred. The karyotype below, which should have appeared as Figure 3, page 364 rather than the one that was printed, corresponds to the metaphase set of chromosomes on page 365, which is part of Figure 3. In order to make an accurate comparison between metaphase plate and karyotype, the figure below should be used.
