Corrigendum

Abstract

In the May–June 1978 issue of the Journal of Heredity (volume 69, number 3) we regret that an error appeared in the article, "Evaluation of tobacco mosaic resistance factor transferred from burley to flue-cured tobacco," by J.F. Chaplin and T.J. Mann. The caption to Figure 1 (page 177) reads as printed: "Flue-cured tobacco leaves from plants resistant to TMV (left) and susceptible to TMV (right). It should read:" Flue-cured tobacco leaves from plants susceptible to TMV (left) and resistant to TMV (right).
