Abstract

Two generations of lentil plants, originating from naturally occurring bud mutation, were identified and studied. The mutation was first studied on the host plant and many plants from progeny seeds were observed in field plots. Plants produced black, mottled, and tan seeds. The seeds of different colors differed also in germination potential, plant stand establishment, and foliage development.
