The agouti alleles of Peromyscus

Abstract

Attention is drawn to the inappropriate designation of agouti alleles in Peromyscus in a recent publication. It is suggested that these and other designations and symbols in Peromyscus be reexamined for consistency in rodent coat color nomenclature.
