Abstract

A compensating trisomic was isolated from the progeny of a multiple interchange trisomic in pearl millet, Pennisetum typhoides. It showed the characteristic morphological features of trisomy and formed a chain-of-seven chromosomes with the absence of a ring-of-four-or-six chromosomes.
