Induced dwarf mutant in impatiens platypetala

Abstract

Individuals with a dwarf plant type were found in the M2 generation after treatment of seed of impatiens ptatypetala with 0.08M ethyl methansulfonate. A genetic Investigation Indicated that this characteristic Is controlled by a single, recessive gone.
