Two new mutants of the boll weevil

Abstract

Two new autosomal recessive mutants of the boll weevil are described. In rust scale, the homozygous mutants are easily distinguished from the gray of the nonmutant weevils. Plum, eye is detectable In the pupal stage from ca. 3 days of age and into the ackilt stage for about 24 hotv8 at which time plum and wildeyed edutts are indistinguishable
