Correction

Abstract

IN the paper, "Bias in estimation of the sampling variance of an estimate of heritability," by E. M. Funkhouser and M. Grossman (J. Heredity 73:139–141. 1982) equation (2) was presented incorrectly; it should read:FormulaCalculations were performed using the correct formula, so in the published paper the results and conclusions stand. The authors regret the inadvertent error.
