Effects of carotenoid-anthocyanin combinations on flower color

Abstract

The creation of novel flower colors by combining carotenoid and anthocyanin pigments s described. A new bronze coloration was produced by crossing flowers containing gold carotenoids with flowers containing magenta anthocyanins.
