Calculation of indices of genetic distance and similarity: unbiased estimation corrected for sample size in BASIC computer program

Abstract

Small sample sizes introduce bias into calculations of indices of genetic distance and identity between populations. A correction for such bias is given here for a published BASIC computer program.
