The genetics of space, a new sex-linked mutant In Culex tarsalis

Abstract

A new sex-linked mutant space (spe), is described for the mosquito Culex tarsalis. Spe identifies a broad ventral gap between the compound eyes and is expressed in both sexes. An updated map of linkage group I is offered from recombination data involving the sex-linked mutants described to date
