Abstract
Mendellan Inheritance was demonstrated for 13 polymorphic and five monomorphic Isozyme loci from progeny testing of selfed progeny from five clonally propagated varieties of the cherimoya, Annona cherlmola Mill. (Annonaceae). Strong segregation distortion was noted for Pgl1 in two varieties, but segregation was normal in two other varieties. A fourteenth possible locus, Mpl, showed non-Mendelian inheritance for the putative heterozygotes. Tests of Joint segregation for 46 of the 78 possible combinations of these loci identified two linkage groups involving five (Got2Mdh 1AdhTpl1Aco2) and four (Tpl2Pgl1Got1Aco1) loci, respectively.
