A Linkage Map of Seven Allozyme Loci in the Hessian Fly
Corresponding Editor: Ross Maclntyre
Abstract
We have mapped the location of the fumarase (FUM), isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH), malic acid dehydrogenase (MDH), mannose-6-phosphate isomerase (MPI), phosphoglucomutase (PGM), phosphoglucoisomerase (PGl), and phosphogluconic acid dehydrogenase (6PGDH) loci in the Hessian Fly. MDH and MPl were linked on an autosome but segregated independently of 6PGDH or FUM, which were linked and were also autosomal. IDH, PGl, and PGM were sex linked and formed a single linkage group.
